It's nice to revitalize memories of seeing Kraftwerk perform in front of my very own eyes. I had been waiting since the release of Computer World to see them on stage, and finally got the chance in 2004 when this DVD was compiled. My experience was well worth the 6 hour plus drive to see them in Canada, where at the end of the show, happened across a crowd gathering at the back of the theater awaiting autographs for anyone that emerged from the building. I recall Ralf stepping out to a frenzy of ... Read More

Finally we got an official Kraftwerk release on DVD and it's awesome. Great track list, audio and visuals. Bottom line, a must have for any Kraftwerk fan. However, like many reviewers said, there's no bonus footage. Interviews, video clips and/or old footage would have been great. Hopefully we get another official release with more historical content some time. In sum, I highly recommend this DVD.

How to sum it up in a few words? Well here's a short attempt:
1) The sound is amazing. If you listen to this through a decent system, you will be blown away at the production quality.

3) One of the big points of mystery is "who does what?" Meaning, what things are actually being played ... Read More

Kraftwerk still know their way around synthpop after close to four decades. They're surprisingly active for a band formed in the 1970's, even though they haven't produced a lot of new material lately. After an eternity, they have finally put forth a CD and a DVD of their live performances.
There is one fact, though: live electronica is normally extremely dull. All the artist needs to do is stand in place and twiddle a few knobs. Needless to say, all four band members are seen twiddling ... Read More

The DVD is supposed to come with there notebooks that they sell online at there store. I think that this group is awsome, there aged, there electronic, and they sure like and know what they are doing. The group memmbers remind me of my dad and stuff so I guess this is something that I would watch alot of. I have been trying to get away from DVD's and movies with violence and drama and so far I have been building my collection thanks to Kraftwerk music videos. Thanks Again. P.S. I know some things ...
