My Onyx passed suddenly on 02/08/06. I had so many questions as to why, where is he now, is he happy, does he miss me. I find a lot of comfort reading this. I have no children no kid to read this too. I needed a quick fix not some novel quoting the bible with a thousand pages. I'm not a religious person however I do believe there is something greater beyond what we know. I knew this was a childrens book when I bought it obviously I didn't care. The state I am in now I need comfort and reassurance fast. It's helping me now and reassures me that one day I will be with him and other loved beings I call family.

My son, 5 years old, was having a terrible time letting our dog go who had past over a year and a half ago. We had several discussions about faith and even being completely blunt. Nothing seemed to work until this book. After a read it to him, it was as if a light switch was turned on. He is no longer sad and confused about the lost of his best friend.

I have been a fan and supporter of Sylvia Browne for years and have picked up almost every book of hers. I recently lost my beloved cat suddenly and within a week, I headed to the bookstore to pick up this book. I knew from some of her writings in other books what our beloved furbabies go home to, but I really wanted the additional comfort of a book devoted just to that subject.
I knew, before purchasing the book, that it was designed as more of a picture book, although it is hardly just for children. The pictures are beautiful and although I finished the text and book itself in probably ten minutes, I found myself crying tears of relief and even joy at reading of the happiness, security and health that my precious furbaby now had.
Anyone who has lost a beloved pet should read these inspiring words - - and feel the immense relief of knowing that yes, we will see our sweet babies again and they will be restored to full health and gloriously happy. And while this book is absolutely wonderful for children, adults will benefit as well. A definite keeper in my library.
Five stars, all the way.

I love my pets so much I would buy into anything to confirm that they "move on" with us. While I liked the premise of this book, it IS for children. Not much "meat", and a lot of pictures. If you have kids, I definately recommend for the loss of a family pet. If you are an adult dealing with the loss, it may help, but I just wish it offered more on the subject.

I am another one of those people who didnt realize this was a childrens book. It only took me 10 min to read the whole thing. Its mostly drawings, with a small paragraph, every other page, and there arent many pages. I have several books Sylvia wrote and love them, and I think this book is another good one of hers, but I wanted a book with more information. If you already have read several of Sylvia's books, it doesnt really say any more than shes already said before. I would recomend this book for someone who has lost a pet, or know somebody who has lost a pet, especially a child. I think it would be very comforting.
