Books - The Secret Language of Birthdays (reissue)

Rating: -
I read all my friends birthday and I remember going "OMG, that's so her/him." This book is so accurate, it's funny entertainment. It doesn't just tell you the good things about you, it's an honest book that tells who you are. And you may think it's vague, and can apply to anyone, but if you read your birthday and someone else's birthday description, you will think that the page was so right about you and your friends, and it wouldn't be right had the pages switched.
There's another book like this: The Power of Birthdays, Stars & Numbers : The Complete Personology Reference Guide. Compared to that book, I would give Goldschneider 4 stars and Crawford's 5 stars. I would give this book a higher rating because it's more detailed than Goldschneider and offers more variety.

I have had this book since 1997 along with The Secret Language of Relationships and I still consult them regarding different friends and lovers. Wonderfully accurate and very interesting! A great collection of books that will freak your friends out and something you can enjoy for years (yes, I said YEARS) to come. Worth the price 30 times over.

Rather then just reading a horoscope book that deals with each sign this book separates each day of the year so people can have a more in-depth read on themselves and those born on each day of the year. You can also learn who shares your date of birth, find out various things on your zodiac sign, what element you are, etc. This book is full of fascinating and interesting facts, most of which were true for myself at least.

I found this book by accident when I was in the library during lunchtime when I was in school. Holy $*^@! This book is typically dead on.
With all of my friends, family, and people I have looked up, it is usually about 90% accurate, sometimes more, sometimes less. With everyone I have looked up, it is accurate in some way.
I am a skeptic when it comes to the astrology things you read in the newspaper, and before I read this book, about astrology in general. However, everyone should read this book. It will redefine how you think of astrology.

I'm not big on horoscopes, and hold a long-held belief that horoscopes are self-fulfilling once you read them. If you are looking for a "major romantic disaster" you will find one...whether or not you would normally classify it as major... but I'm digressing a tad.
I glanced through this book, looking up my birthday. AHH! Howly cow (and stronger, sensored words)! It pegged me perfectly. Even down to my chosen profession as an applied pedgagogical specialist dealing with underdeveloped, high-spirited, curious young people (I'm a teacher). Seesh.
This book, while it hasn't convinced me that astology and birthday personalities exists per se...has thoroughly convinced me that I'm being followed and closely watched by someone. Or that there is some truth in this "horoscopic" idea that has lasted for thousands of year.
READ THIS BOOK! Even us skeptics need to get something tossed into our faces once and awhile.
