Some people do not agree with this book, I personally think it is because they follow a path of strict astrology. With astrology I believe there are two paths: the spiritual and the astrological. This book is 80% about spirituality and 20% about straight down the line astrology. I was amazed at how accurate this book was for me, for members of my family and for my friends, and basically for anyone I have ever known. This is also a very helpful book, it has opened my eyes to the way the people I know think and behave.
Although, I must note one example which might bring to light why some people call this book 'negative' and innacurate. My sister is a gemini with a north node in libra. I am a leo with a north node in gemini. She read gemini instead of libra and believed that gemini was more her, but judging from my perspective of someone who has known her all her life, I think she has more in common with north node libra. Just as when I read leo, it seemed to be an accurate description of myself from the traditional astrology perspective. But after reading my north node it described my wants and needs, what was important to me, how I dealt with things and it really described the spiritual evolution of the gemini north node. If I was to choose between normal astrology or astrology for the soul, I would without a doubt choose Astrology for the Soul. I think Jan Spiller is an insightful and amazing writer and I would recommend this book to anyone who understands themselves at the core level, at the spiritual level. A highly evolved understanding of spirituality in one self is vital for understanding this book.

Please readers, disregard the negative comments about this book.I am sure that if you find out your NN and read the descriptions of negative patterns, so much will make sense in your life, its unbelivable.Find out your friends or lovers NN and you will be even more enlightened about why they behave the way they do and knowing this, can make changes for the better.

This book is awful! I am an astrologer for over 30 years. You cannot have a North Node without a South. By the way, a client brought me this who got it from a "friend"........... Who thought they could benefit in their personal life. She was very upset because she found herself unable to relate to what was being said....she being North Node in Aries. It turned out , thanks to Ms Spiller..that this woman was having doubts about herself in areas that she clearly had nothing in common with in this particular Node. The point being, people who are spiritually seeking read this trash think it is complete and have no experience in Astrology to make any distinctions. This book is manipulative and destructive in my opinion. It is lacking in credibility and generalizes in ways that would make a sane person doubt themselves. I am not sure how there are so many positive reveiws; as this book is certainly not a valid depiction of some great spiritul self help book. My suggestion...... if someone gives you this as a gift and tells you " you should read this because it will really help you......." run the other way. And leave the book on the table......or better yet in the trash!

I read this book from a friend..........I am saddened that this trash is actually being touted as credible! It is garbage and not worth the paper it is written on. I hae studied Astrology in depth and like someone else said, she lacks integrity and does not mention the aspects. What a farce. And I feel badly for the suckers who read this. It will certainly screw you up! This woman should have her word processor taken away from her! What a pile of rubbish..................
