My therapist recommended this book. I have enjoyed it. I also would recomended The Feeling Good Handbook & Ten Days to Self Esteem. They both helped me alot.

This book has alot of very useful information and techniques to help the depressed. The main premise is that we can eleviate our depression by being conscious of our negative thoughts and working to turn them off. The author makes sensibel arguments that we focus on our negative thoughts and behaviors that 'healty' people don't give a second thought to.

If reading this book hasn't rid me totally of depression, it has helped emensly in my ability to cope and understand it.
