Editorial Review:
Album Description: 'Stars. The new album from Mindi Abair. A unique mix of pop, soul, jazz and vocals......leading a whole new movement in contemporary music.' 'Stars' puts her in a stand-alone category when compared to her contemporaries...and is not to be missed! The album represents a musical shift for Mindi; in addition to her signature sax sound, she has also featured her unique and modern approach to vocals on this album.

Great album. I knew of her saxophone skills but she sings too! Very good if you like "smooth jazz."

This is a brilliant album. Mindi sings a bit more on this album, and I for one love it because she has a sexy singing voice.

I have been a huge Mindi fan since her first album. Back then, and to an extent now, she reminded me of her own mentor, Mr. David Sanborn. I enjoyed him for years so naturally I appreciate Mindi. First of all Mindi is gorgeous!
I'm not a music critic, but I knows what I likes!
I own her other CD's and yea, Stars is different. She does sings more. I think she's got a nice voice. There is still plenty of soulful sax in the album.
If this CD sounded like her others would people complain about that? Yep! Can't please everyone all the time.
Bottom line, if you are a fan of Mindi Abair you'll enjoy it.
