I liked a lot of her suggestions but I don't think it's necessary to do all of them since there were some that were not issues for me. The one I thought was most helpful was the one where you list in order from least fearful to most the kinds interactions with others that make you shy or scared to do. Then created mini-steps for each one to tackle them. After that the rest of the tips seem like suggestions for things to add to this list. If anything ... Each chapter focuses on a particular step that shys can use. Then at the end of each chapter, it is summarized in a little gray box called a "Shy Buster."
