I had heard that they worked if you kept wiping the moisture out of them. Everything I put in them (strawberries, lettuce, etc) ...rotten. The strawberries were literally bad the very next day. Save your money! Rating: - I love these Green Bags! I'm not sure what makes this bag a success for some and not for others. I've had a great experience with them. One thing that I learned is not to close the bag up tightly. Also, don't wash produce before slipping into the bags. I leave the ends mostly open and use them on the veggies and fruits that I refrigerate. They didn't work well for the tomatoes I left on the counter, but for everything else, they've extended the life by a week or two. I recommend them for all produce stored in the fridge ... The biggest single factor I can pinpoint, however, is definitely moisture in the bag. I store all my food with a paper towel in the bag to absorb excess moisture and replace it every 1 -2 days.
