Make sure you use fresh battiers otherwise it will affect the signal strength to the remote. Also before you mount the remote make sure you can get a signal to the station.I just set the remote on the fence near the desired location and if the signal worked then I mounted it. Only things that is strange is that the outside temperture reading somethings is way off; but it soon correct it self. It does what I needed it to do!
