Product Description: This CD is Produced, Engineered, Recorded, and Mixed by Richard 'The Guru' Carr and Mastered by 2 time Grammy Award Winner Gavin Lurssen at Lurssen Mastering in Hollywood, CA. Cage's music is best described as new rock metal with influences of the likes of Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, and Queensryche. This CD is a must for metal fans.

A masterful example of visual art and rock perfection, and of a band evolving in the right directions, this San Diego band brought destruction to hell and hope to metal with this absolute masterpiece. Elaborate both musically and lyrically, Hell Destroyer is best digested sitting down, reading and appreciating the booklet while listening with headphones on, and once you dig it completely, run, and tell someone that CAGE are the best filmmakers metal has to offer. This guys will headline the upcoming ... Read More

Wow! The first CD I got from Cage was Astrology which blew me away. This one is on another level altogether. The vocals and lyrics of Sean Peck are absolutely mind blowing, the dual guitar attack of Anthony Wayne and and Dave Garcia is shredding, and the drums of Mikey Neil and the bass guitar of Michael Giordano is just bone crushing. I'm exhausted just listening to this metal masterpiece. I cannot believe I'm just now hearing about these guys. They pour every ounce of heart and soul into this ... Read More

This was recommended to me on a message board. I went into it with some hesitation. That was a mistake. What a great recording. Some say it reminds them of Painkiller-era JP. I, however, am reminded much more of Jag Panzer mixed with Iced Earth. If you are a power metal fan, this one is for you. The vocals are varied (i.e. not all high pitched falsettos). The music is killer and the the last song (which might be the best one on here) is a tribute to King Diamond with vocals that are very reminiscent ... Read More

4.5 stars. Imagine Cage's last album, "Darker Than Black", with an infusion of unbridled ambition and you have "Hell Destroyer". There are 21 tracks on this album, and as would be expected not all are actual songs. Tracks 1, 4, 8, 10, 12, 15, and 19 are spoken-word sections that tie the overall theme of the album together. That leaves 13 songs for the main album. Nearly every song here is a blast of Judas Priest influenced Power Metal with phenomenal vocals and thundering guitars; though I did catch an ... Read More
