It is really amazing to see the difference between VHS, DVD and now Blu-ray. The special effects still are fun to watch (especially the vaunted lobby scene). I loved the first movie but is seems that the path was somewhat lost on the last two. The last two films are not bad just seem to take a different path than what was originally projected on the first film. Special effects are over the top as would be expected from the genre.
