| The Sun Represents Your Self, Ego Structure, And Personality
About the Illustration: The artist sought to represent both the masculine aspect of the solar god, and its feminine side by creating a three-layered effect. The foreground represents the sun as a celestial body that radiates energy; the middle layer, a sun goddess with golden locks and mask decorated with sun-related tribal markings; and the bottom layer, an image of an ancient sun god, at the center of sun-like mosaic.

| The Moon Represents Your Feelings, Unconscious, Dreams
About the Illustration: The female figure wears a starry veil, which can be seen as a reflection of how the moon looks behind the clouds on some nights, and also as a wedding veil of sorts, in a way that suggests the moon's 'marriage' to the earth. The phases of the moon are reflected in the starry border behind the female figure. The moon, itself, is sensual and bright. In astrological lore, the moon reflects our subconscious, basic habits, and reactions.

Product Description:
Astrology is finally getting personal! From the best-selling author of The Secret Language of Birthdays comes a revolution in charting your horoscope based on both the date and time of your birth that makes all other horoscope books irrelevant. With his 'Personology' system, Gary Goldschneider has created a unique method which divides each of the twelve signs into five sub-types-such as Aquarius-Pisces Cusp, Pisces I, Pisces II, Pisces III, and Pisces-Aries Cusp-thereby sub-dividing the astrological year into 48 personology periods. The precision this allows is far beyond anything available in any other astrology book and provides a ground-breaking new way for readers to look not only at their own lives, but their interactions with those around them. The book comes packed with easy-to-follow charts covering the sun, eight different planets, and, unique to this book, the rapid fluctuations of the moon for every year from 1900 through 2025. The result is an unprecedented level of precision, as well as a beautifully illustrated volume destined to become the one and only book horoscope readers will treasure for the next twenty years.

I bought this as a gift for my friend. He loved it. He was especially pleased with the graphics.

Okay, so I did actually buy this at a thrift store. But I looked up my horoscope in it for my birth date, moon phase and etc, and was not at all pleased by the negative combination of traits dealt out for me. I decided to look up my mother's horoscope, and hers was also excessively negative to the point of being hurtful. The ONLY thing that I liked about this book is that the pictures for each planet's goddess/fairy whatever were really beautiful. I plan to cut these pictures out and most likely ... Read More

Although I agree with the other reviewers to a point, the number of mistakes is an issue. There are enough major mistakes that the publisher should have offered to take the books back and replace them or offered a refund. Given the price of this book, it was the least they could do. It's sad because they tell us to print out the corrections and put them in our books making the book looked like a cut and paste mess.
I wish I had known this was such a major problem before I wasted my money. ... Read More

I can't tell you how frustrating it has been to get astrology books and chart interpretation books, only to find that no charts are included, and the chart is required to make sense of the book! The bulk of this book IS the charts. I have to completely agree with the first reviewer that this book screams CD ROM. I was able to scan in the "fill in" chart on my computer, and that helped, but the info is all separated and has to be scanned individually, then "cut/pasted" to make a comprehensive "one-stop" ... I never used to really buy into astrology for the simple reason that I knew the 30,000,000 or so other Libras in the U.S. were not all exactly like me. I also refused to believe that the million or so people who shared my birthday were all like me. Then I picked up this book (which wasn't easy given its weight!) and used it to produce a chart for myself that was based on the day, year, and even TIME of my birth. The result nailed me so perfectly (and not always in a complimentary way) that it was frightening. ... Read More
