Ever since the Serenity soundtrack came out I had been circling the racks like a vulture hoping for the show to get it's due. One of the most common complaint's is that these aren't the full musical pieces. And it's true, they're not. But they're like they were in the show. Unfortunately, because Firefly is getting old for a series, we probably won't get full versions until the 15th anniversary or something. Considering that they put out things ... I am such a fan of Firefly, I had to have this for my collection. It's a very fine piece of work. The music included puts you in the show! I have watched the entire series and Serenity The Movie over and over, and this cd does it justice. Rating: - Not as good as I wanted it to be With soundtracks, rather than short cues lifted straight from the show or movie, I usually prefer the musical cues to be compiled or otherwise strung together to make much longer overture-type musical pieces. Such provides a richer overall listening experience in many cases. So, its very difficult that I say -- since I love "Firefly" and Greg Edmondson's musical score -- that with this CD, the tracks end too soon -- just as you're getting into the mood of the music.
