Alright, Jensen Ackles is a terrific actor and it's interesting to see him in a different role than his Dean Winchester character. But this movie is plain BAD. I couldn't bear to watch it longer than 45 minutes. Despite Jensen Ackles! Well, I guess you can call THAT horror.
So do yourself a favor and (re-)watch "Supernatural" episodes instead.
And let's all hope "My Bloody Valentine 2009" will turn out to be a better remake than the mediocre (at best) original suggests.

Well thought out but a bit dissappointing because evil endured in the end. Would have loved to see evil fall on it's nose. Storyline good and unpredictable. I liked it very much.

So, I purchased this movie because I am a big fan of both Jensen Ackles and kitchy horror. What a mistake. The plot makes so little sense that Jensen himself said in an interview that he couldn't make heads or tails out of it. Save your money and rent it if you must see it, but trust me when I tell you that you don't.

i put off seeing this movie for months for two reasons: 1) bad reviews and 2) i don't do horror flicks, and this one was supposed to be pretty bad.
in short, i am really, really sorry i waited.
the reason i finally rented the movie (and now i've just ordered a copy for my very own) was because of the supernatural hiatus for 3 wks. this september between the final airing of the summer re-runs and the beginning of the new season.
