First of all when i heard this album it was nothing i expected.I was looking for a more emotional melodic songs and i found it on this album.Andy Larocque with his brilliant guitar work makes puppet master sound alot catchier from earlier songs (voodoo, house of god)etc.Plus the story is great too. This album is definitely one of king's darkest and disturbing album he ever created.Everyone knows Abigail and Them were his best works but the Puppet Master is right up there with them. For the first time ... This album is what gothic metal SHOULD be!
Dark, haunting, and full of emotion. Best part, it's catchy.
