Not only must the space-suited teens fight a band of human-destroying mutants here, they also have to combat horrendous dialogue, insipid melodrama, negligible acting skills, and not-so special effects. The kicking/karate-chopping action (which comes through with the required grunts of indistinguishable agony and/or exertion) cancels out the syrupy subplots to some extent, but there's no getting around badness this blatant and unapologetic. I definitely had high hopes for the finale, and for the most part it delivered. We got to see more of the blossoming friendship between the Pink Ranger and the Red Ranger, as well as Jen finally letting go of Alex. The story is action packed with a bitter sweet ending.
