Rating: - favorite girlfriend movie This is just a grand escape and my husband and I actually went to this very hotel just because of the movie. In fact we went twice and would go again. The movie is just a "grand upper" for women. Pauline Collins is spectacular. Rating: - Shirley is Lovely This is one of the most wonderful stories of self actualization I have ever sen. It has humor, love, resentment, anger, regret, sadnesss, and finally redemption. Although many would consider this a "chick-flick", I think there is a lesson forus husbands too...keep the relationship alive and listen to your partener, she is far more complex than you realize. Relationships drift apart from lack of communication, so talk to eachother. That is the ultimate lesson of this heartwarming movie. Rating: - .Women, listen up!
