This guy talks about re-discovering the lost self or something when Jesus Christ talked about dying to self, he talked about denying self, taking up the cross and folllowing him.

Pearson argues strongly against the truth of the gospels in "The Gospel of Inclusion". In his view, Jesus Christ lied when he said there was a hell because Pearson, apparently given new, mystical insight into the matter, has now announced to the world that there is no eternal punishment for some. Furthermore, "God is not a Christian" (p 10), and, he sniffs, "Religion is too unfriendly" (p 38) and judgmental.
