We had a book fair at my school and I spent all of my allowance on it, a coloring book, and an Irish folklore hardback. I recently bought this book again for myself as I lost my first copy years ago. As the book is centered around food, I usually read it while enjoying a grilled cheese sandwich. It's the perfect "snack book". Read More Rating: - Funny with Great Illustrations Good Night Lullabies My two grandsons, ages 4 and 6, liked this book a lot. It appealed to their imaginations and the illustrations were excellent. The story loses a bit of momentun at the end, and lost the kid's interest a bit. But, overall, a fun book. Rating: - Be Aware! the book has been rewritten since we were kids! I purchased a newer version of my childhood favorite book and found that it is not the same book. Alas, someone decided it needed to be edited to make it more PC and to add some other changes that really make no sense at all.
