Editorial Review:
Product Description: Colorful pictures and simple rhyming texts help children guess what's peeking through the die-cut windows in these two fun board books. The anticipation of what's hiding on the next page and th bright, engaging illustrations will keep youngsters guessing and giggling all the way to the suprise endings.
Amazon.com Review: With its simple rhyming text, vibrant pictures, 'peekaboo' windows, and small board-book format, Ready, Set, Go! is ideal for curious young minds and hands. On alternating two-page spreads, the words 'ready/set' are repeated, opposite an illustrated page with a die-cut hole. Readers guess what's behind each window, then turn the page to discover the text ('ROW!,' 'BLOW,' 'GROW!' etc.) and charming illustrations of a comically desperate sailor oaring away from circling sharks, a little girl blowing luminous bubbles. There's also a fantastic spinning flower that changes from yellow to purple with the turn of a tab. The book is sturdy enough to withstand the many happily clutching fingers that are bound to make their way into the baby-fist-size holes. For more peekaboo fun, investigate Nina Laden's Peek-a Who?. Absolutely one of my 2-year old son's all time favorite. My only complaint will be that the pull tab on last page that reveals the flower gets easily torn and unusable.

A great little book for your pre-school child or grandchild. Simple and fun, it's great for introducing your little ones to the world of reading!

This book is much smaller than I imagined, especially for the price. I would not recommend this to someone who intends to keep the attention of a child.

My baby loved this book from 3 months and still loves at 9 months. The rhyming dialog and peek a boo set-up keeps him interested and excited to see what is next.

We love this book. Very fun for my toddler to turn each page with the hole in the middle, and easy to understand. A lot of books for his age have so much going on on each page. Liked this one with it's simple, yet just detailed enough illustrations, and educational play on words. Too bad about the last page...difficult to pull and easily torn, even though we tried so hard to be careful.
