This is a great book. I first became aware of it when I noticed that many of the Benedictine sisters at a local monastery were reading this book. Intrigued, I had to see what it was about. The book offers a magnificent introduction into the way of the Christian mystical tradition, offered through beautiful stories, information on the mystical forebearers on this path of contemplation, and contemporary knowledge.
