This book was very very helpful in preparing me for the GRE exam! However, make sure that you have plenty enough time to go through everything. If you're short on time, I'd recommend just reviewing the math section. Rating: - The book is never wrong I have been working my way through this book over the past few weeks, largely focusing on the quantitative portions. To date, I've completed about 80% of all of the available quant questions, and I can say with complete certainty that the book is never wrong. The book is well organized and the content is updated with each edition to match the current GRE. The Math is good but it is the verbal part that makes it worth having. Rating: - Almost-40 perspective I just took the GRE and am positive I got the verbal score I got because I reviewed the vocabulary lists in Barron's. If you review all the words and really learn the ones noted as appearing most frequently, you will be well-prepared for verbal. I crammed vocabulary in the last 10-14 days and got a 650 on verbal, which is more than I need for my program. I did not find Barron's as helpful with the quantitative section.
