I have and read every book Dr. Phil has written and 2 of the CD Book's. There isn't any information that he proects that isn't helpful. This man is down to earth and I watch or tape his show every day. I have improved my own life from listening, reading, and watching him. I can't even imagine him being behind a desk and seeing clients on an hourly basis on his couch sort-of-speak. He is doing what he is suppose to be doing and God Bless him for including his family. Dr. Phil - like him or hate him - has some very good information here. Weight loss and diet control still boils down to the basics: Eat less and move more...but you have to start with eating healthy and getting your habits and mindset ready to get yourself more healthy.

I have noticed many people have said stuff like, "I wouldn't even want to try the recipies", and that they are "unconventional". Well, lets face it - the reason you (and I) are fat is that we don't eat healthy foods. If we liked eating all of the vegtables and spices (instead of salt) in this book, then we really wouldn't need it would we?
