I asked my fiance to take a look at this book. He laughed and said he had met guys like this in college; really smart guys who had trouble getting a date and who blamed it on the women. He suggested I throw it out, but I'm going to take the book next to a female therapist (Dr. of Psychology) I know, and see what she says.
