In this new book, world-famous astrologer and best-selling author Suzanne White demystifies the formerly complicated study of the Chinese Zodiac. The easy-to-read reference guide describes each animal sign's individual characteristics, special capabilities, and particular health problems, and explains how the five Chinese elements affect it. Discover the terrible Tiger's major weak spots. Find out why Rats get married so often. Even learn why Oxen should avoid spicy foods!
You'll also discover how people of the various signs combine and relate to one another as friends, lovers, and colleagues. Suzanne White tells which matches are truly harmonious-- and which unions are a recipe for disaster. She also explains which celebrities were born under the various signs, and offers valuable advice for improving your destiny. Best of all, The New Chinese Astrology predicts what the next twelve years bode for you, your friends, and even your enemies!

This is one of the best Chinese Astrology books I've read out there. It's very detailed, multi-layered, full of insightful stories to give those a glimpse into the personality traits of each of the twelve eastern signs. I was very impressed and highly recommend this one to ad to the collection. I still refer to it for information on new people that come into my life. Fun stuff!

I loved this book. It finally explained to me why I don't fit the typical spaced out pisces type, because I'm balanced by the bull or water buffalo. The traditional zodiac just never felt like enough, even when you added in all the complicated moon rising and planets. This was more complete and balanced.

I've read several of Suzanne White's books regarding Chinese astrology, and is an excellent reference on the subject. It combines each of the twelve signs with each of the five elements to give one a deeper understanding of the sixty possible combinations of human nature in this zodiac. Add to this thoroughness the ease of the book's readability (all of White's books are fun to read), and you have a book that is excellent for the beginner and can offer the experienced Chinese astrologer some new ... This book was terrific as I have read other books on Chinese Astrology in the past, have some even, and the way Suzanne White broke down even the signs, gives more meaning to the signs. At times in the past when meeting someone who is for example a Dog Chinese Astrology sign, they may not seem like someone else I know with the same sign, now I know why! This book is a terrific reference book to have on hand for anyone who reads up on Chinese Astrology.

This book is one of Suzanne White's absolutely best efforts at making us aware of who we are and how we behave thanks to our Chinese signs. It's full of anecdotes about real people who are Monkeys or Horses or Pigs and who actually act like their signs. There's no mumbo jumbo astro talk here. The New Chinese Astrology is chockablock with informantion - and it's fun to read. This book is a permanent part of my self-help library. Get it today. You won't be sorry you did.
