Product Description:
Why is it that our current twenty-first century a.d. is so similar to the twenty-first century B.C.? At a time when religious fanaticism and a clash of civilizations raise the specter of a nuclear Armageddon, many ask: Is history destined to repeat itself? What does the future hold? Will biblical prophecies come true, and if so, when?
Ever since Zecharia Sitchin, in his first trailblazing book The 12th Planet, brought to life the Sumerian civilization and its record of the Annunaki—the extraterrestrials who had come to Earth from their planet Nibiru, fashioned mankind, and gave us civilization and religion—questions have abounded. Are the ancient gods still here, or did they leave? Will they return? What will happen then? Will there be another Deluge or Apocalypse when Nibiru meets Earth? What about Planet X and the Mayan 2012? What about Jesus?
In The End of Days, a masterwork that required thirty years of additional research, Sitchin dares to give the answers by presenting compelling new evidence that the Past is the Future—that mankind and its planet Earth are subject to a predetermined cyclical Celestial Time.
Tracing historical events from the messianic fervor and use of nuclear weapons in the twenty-first century B.C., Sitchin resolves ancient enigmas like the Nazca Lines or the origin and significance of the Cross, the Fishes, and the Chalice, places in context the events of the Last Supper and hidden clues like those in Da Vinci's painting, explains the space-related reasons for the everlasting centrality of Jerusalem, and—following in the footsteps of Sir Isaac Newton—deciphers the Time Code in the books of Daniel and Revelation and of the Day of the Lord and the End of Days prophecies.
In this remarkable and relevant conclusion to his bestselling The Earth Chronicles series, Sitchin shatters perceptions and uses history to reveal what is to come at The End of Days.

Okay, the book was worth reading as science fiction/fantasy. However, not to be taken seriously. Sitchin uses ancient Sumerian and Akkadian texts as the basis of his work, but, you the reader must be aware that these texts are mythology and not to be taken seriously. Ancient Sumerians wrote about their world and history as they were able to understand it. Many of their myths have been handed down to cultures that followed them, along with ancient Egyptian myths as well, where they have entered ... Read More

The Guru of Alternative Archeology. Sitchin is Mesmerizing. Simply the Greatest!!
Indeed, Zecharia Sitchin is sublime. He is the greatest.
A daring thinker with unmatched visions, historical depth and unusual approach to understanding our world.
Some of his theories challenge mainstream science. But remember, science could become stagnant if creative minds are dormant.
Sitchin's mind is vibrant. Sitchin's mind encompasses multidimensional spheres of ultimate knowledge. ... Read More

I have been a fan of Zecharia for ten years. He is a profound biblical scholar and one of only a few who can read ancient Sumerian. Zecharia is also an expert on near eastern mythology and takes a highly controversial position regarding these myths and texts which originate from the area of modern Iraq.
According to Zecharia, when considering these accounts of Gods and men, one should take them more at face value and interpret them in the most literal and straightforward way. His interpretation ... Read More

Probably a good primer on the Sumerian tablets, Stonehenge, the Mathematical relationships, et. al. But if you're already familiar with this stuff, not much new here. Ties it all together. Some doom and gloom. I've read half of Sitchin's series. Am fascinated by the whole thing. Chariots of the Gods is also on message but more lightheartedly, and always a good read or view. Way ahead of it's time! Depressing to think that for nearly 2000 years, we've been blindsided by religious zealots who mostly went out and ... Read More

The chapter on the antikythera mechanism alone is worth buying the book. The whole Earth Crhonicles series makes sense of what accepted history cannot explain, along with evolution. A must read for those who are not afraid to learn the facts even if it shakes their world from the nonsense they were taught in school. Yes it is upsetting to think of spending money tolearn rubbish in learning institutions but better to know and leave that behind than stay in the dark one's whole life.
